ETT Level 4
Treating Somatic Disorders
Clinicians that have completed ETT® Level 1, Level 2 and the associated consultations will learn how to use ETT® techniques to treat the stress component of physical pain, illness, and injury.
This course explains the scientific research that supports ETT® strategies for resolving emotional and neurobiological distress using ETT® modalities. This is the ultimate body-based form of psychotherapy.
Clinicians will have the opportunity to learn:
To identify three somatic conditions listed in the DSM 5
To facilitate the relief of psychosocial factors involved in physical pain syndrome
To identify three issues commonly found in the counseling treatment of cancer patients.
To facilitate the relief of symptoms from motor vehicle accidents
To identify three aspects in the ETT® treatment of recovery from brain injuries
In addition to demonstrations, each clinician will have the opportunity to practice the strategies taught during the course.
