ETT Level 4

Treating Somatic Disorders

Clinicians that have completed ETT® Level 1, Level 2 and the associated consultations will learn how to use ETT® techniques to treat the stress component of physical pain, illness, and injury.

This course explains the scientific research that supports ETT® strategies for resolving emotional and neurobiological distress using ETT® modalities. This is the ultimate body-based form of psychotherapy.

Clinicians will have the opportunity to learn:

  • To identify three somatic conditions listed in the DSM 5

  • To facilitate the relief of psychosocial factors involved in physical pain syndrome

  • To identify three issues commonly found in the counseling treatment of cancer patients.

  • To facilitate the relief of symptoms from motor vehicle accidents

  • To identify three aspects in the ETT® treatment of recovery from brain injuries

In addition to demonstrations, each clinician will have the opportunity to practice the strategies taught during the course.
